The Wilderness Yet
The Wilderness Yet
2023 Acorn Stage
When we introduced our second stage, we wanted it to be a platform for a new generation of folk artists, allowing us to introduce our audience to incredible new talent, up-and-coming artists and exciting new collaborations, so The Wilderness Yet was made for our Acorn Stage!
This new trio combines the acclaimed talents of folksinger Rosie Hodgson, traditional fiddler Rowan Piggott, and guitarist-flautist Philippe Barnes. Independently, they have earned audiences’ esteem as consummate musicians; together, they weave an eclectic tapestry of traditional and original songs and tunes; from a cappella three-part harmonies to luscious instrumental arrangements.
All three musicians are clearly steeped in traditional music, but also have unique creative voices. This is sure to be a magical set to light up our Acorn Stage at Folk by the Oak 2023!
