Rain of Animals
Rain of Animals
We’re thrilled to welcome Rain Of Animals, with their love of all things mandolin, fiddle, guitar, harmony vocals, bluegrass, oldtime, swing, tunes and songs, to our Acorn Stage this summer!
Buy TicketsBringing together Australian Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!) and Scot Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool), the duo are renowned for their impeccable arrangements and a sound that encompasses the new and the old, showcasing both instrumental wizardry and musical integrity.
Since their 2021 debut album Nali’s World the band have toured extensively and globally, are in demand as session musicians for the likes of Fanny Lumsden, Stereo Naked, Harry Bird, Wayward Jane and Luke Plumb amongst others, and have collaborative projects with US mandolin master Jacob Jolliff and songwriter Donny McElligott as Good Guy Hank ongoing.
In 2026 they released their second album, featuring accomplished original tracks, arrangements of old songs collected on their travels, and some special guests they have met along the way. A truly incredible duo adept at seeking out and making the most of musical inspiration, we can’t wait to welcome them to Folk by the Oak!
