When we heard No More the Green Hills, the debut album by the award-winning Anglo-Scottish duo Janice Burns and Jon Doran, we were enthralled by their compelling storytelling, tight vocal harmonies and ability to weave the mandolin, bouzouki and guitar into spellbinding re-imaginings of traditional songs.

Noted for their relaxed and personable stage presence, Janice & Jon are a highly sought-after duo. They recently opened Stage 2 at Cambridge Folk Festival and played Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Tradfest and Cecil Sharp House to name but a few and we can’t wait to welcome them to Folk by the Oak.
