Jessie Reid
Jessie Reid
A songwriter wise beyond her years, Jessie Reid is a young indie-folk artist whose raw, understated vocals and innovative percussive guitar style will make for an unmissable set.
Very much an up-and-coming artist to watch, Jessie has already racked up over 10 million streams, garnered support from the likes of Chris Hawkins, Tom Robinson & Emily Pilbeam on BBC 6 Music, won a regional BBC Introducing Artist of the Year accolade, performed at Glastonbury, Camp Bestival and Green Man to name but a few, and secured a spot in Spotify’s coveted Most Beautiful Songs in the World playlist.
Joined on stage by the hugely accomplished cellist Jake Ryan, Jessie will be performing music from her second album Little Sparks (out 6 Feb).
An album about hope, about those tiny moments of positivity that get us through the everyday and the glimmers of light hidden amongst the mundane, we can’t wait for this set to light up our Acorn Stage in July!
“Her breathtaking voice resonates against stunningly atmospheric and ethereal backgrounds, soaring high and sweeping low alongside rich, delicate harmonies that resonate with a knowing warmth.”
