Shake The Chains
Shake the Chains is an exciting touring commission from Folk by the Oak, with support from Arts Council England, Help Musicians, and Folk Alliance. JSL Events, the team behind Folk by the Oak are proud to share our passion for music with our local Herefordshire community.
Working closely with local schools we bring workshops and performances by professional, acoustic, Folk and even Transatlantic Americana musicians to state schools in rural Herefordshire.
Since 2016 we have organised 11 school workshops/performances and are so very grateful to all the incredible artists who have participated:
