With the release of her debut EP Wolf in September 2018 Katherine Priddy has been gaining wide recognition for her eloquent lyrics, sublime melodies and extraordinary voice.

Amassing radio plays from the likes of Gideon Coe, Mark Radcliffe, Janice Long & Tom Robinson has ensured Katherine turned all the right heads, not least venerable icon of the music universe Richard Thompson, who chose her as his tour support for his August 2019 Ireland tour

The release also led to packed out headline shows and festival appearances around the UK, including Underneath the Stars, Towersey and Cambridge Folk Festival where she was awarded the Christian Raphael Prize after leaving the audience enthralled.

Now, after repressing the EP three times to fulfil demand, Katherine is set to answer the call for more music with her new single, ‘Letters From a Travelling Man’.  The upbeat, Americana style track takes its inspiration from Katherine’s personal experiences of living on the road and the struggles of trying to maintain relationships alongside an unsettled lifestyle.

2020 is set to be a very exciting year for Katherine, and we are very proud to be playing a part in this by welcoming her to the Acorn Stage at Folk by the Oak.
