Accessible to all and taught by ear, this is a unique opportunity for you to join an artist of truly exceptional calibre and ‘Sing it to the Trees’.

Regulars to Folk by the Oak will know that we are huge fans of Karine, who last joined us in 2019 both for a solo set and as part of Spell Songs (who also return to Folk by the Oak this summer!).

A multi-award-winning songwriter and musician, a theatre maker, storyteller, essayist, and published writer, Karine is a seven-times winner of The BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, including three times for Best Original Track and 2018’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year.
