Q. Can I just keep my current booking and carry it over to 2021?
A. Yes, and we have made this as simple as possible. Your booking will automatically be validated for Folk by the Oak on Sunday 18 July 2021. You do not need to take any action now.
By keeping your booking in place you are helping to ensure that Folk by the Oak will be here for many years to come, and to show our gratitude we will be entering all bookings carried over into a VIP prize draw! You could enjoy next year’s festival in style with a backstage tour, catering vouchers, a bottle of bubbly and a Folk by the Oak goody bag. There will also be 10 runner-up prizes of a free pair of tickets. Prize draw terms and conditions can be accessed here
Q. Can I gain entry at the 2021 festival with my 2020 tickets?
No, we advise you to discard your 2020 tickets if you have already printed those out. In the autumn you will be sent new tickets to print for entry at the 2021 event.
Q. Can I have a refund?
A. Yes, if you would prefer not to keep your booking you can have a full refund on the price of your tickets. We have asked that customer-activated refunds are made before 1 September 2020. After this time please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. Why did I only have until 1 September 2020 to activate my refund?
A. Having a time limit for refund requests allows us to accurately calculate capacities before putting remaining 2021 tickets on general sale.
Q. What about the donation to Willow?
The per-ticket donation to Willow will still be calculated on all bookings that are not refunded, and will be forwarded directly to them before putting 2021 tickets on sale.
Q. When is the 2021 festival taking place?
A. Folk by the Oak will be on the same weekend next year: Sunday 18 July 2021.
Q. Will the 2021 line-up be the same?
A. We were very excited about our 2020 line-up, and are working hard to ensure that the programme will be replicated as far as possible in 2021. We are over the moon that headliner Seasick Steve and Folk by the Oak favourite Kate Rusby are already confirmed. Further details of the line-up will be announced as soon as we are able.
Q. I booked a large group. Can I cancel some of them and keep some of them?
Yes, but instead of clicking the link above please email us at email@example.com outlining how you would like to proceed and we will process that for you.
Q. I booked tickets through a third party agent (eg. SeeTickets.com), what should I do?
A. Please make direct contact with the agent to request a refund.
Q. I won my tickets in a competition, will these be carried over to next year too?
A. Yes, and you will receive new tickets to print out in the autumn.
Q. Are there any items that won't be refunded?
A. Only ticket purchases are eligible for refund. If you ordered merchandise like a CD or LP through us these will not be refunded. Postal charges are also non-refundable.
Q. I normally donate to Willow at the festival. Can I continue to support them through Folk by the Oak?
A. Yes, and we will continue to do what we can to raise awareness and promote the incredible work that Willow do.
